Complete Floating Aquaculture Solutions
From planning and pontoon supply to cage systems, walkways, support structures and on-site installation.
Overview
Green Mart Fish & Agri provides practical floating infrastructure solutions for aquaculture projects. We work with customers to develop floating systems according to the water body, intended application, operating requirements and project scale.
Our solutions can combine modular HDPE floating pontoons, fish cage structures, access walkways, working platforms and floating support structures into one integrated system.
What We Provide
- Site requirement assessment
- Layout and configuration planning
- HDPE pontoon supply
- Cage and net-support infrastructure
- Floating walkways and work platforms
- Floating shelters / support structures
- Accessories and connection components
- On-site assembly support
- Installation and commissioning assistance
- Post-installation operational support
Applications
Reservoir aquaculture, lake-based fish farming, cage culture projects, private aquaculture farms and other suitable inland-water projects.
Why Green Mart
We combine aquaculture operating experience with the supply and setup of floating infrastructure. This helps us approach a project from the practical requirements of people who will actually operate the system — not simply as a plastic-product supply transaction.
Why Floating Cages on a Lake or Reservoir
Floating cage culture makes use of an existing natural water body — a reservoir, lake or dam — instead of requiring dedicated pond construction or land excavation. Compared with other common approaches, it offers some practical advantages:
- No land or excavation cost — uses existing water surface rather than digging and maintaining earthen ponds.
- Continuous water exchange — natural flow through the cage helps keep oxygen and water quality more stable than a closed pond, without aerators running constantly.
- Easier waste dispersal — waste disperses into the larger water body instead of concentrating in a small enclosure.
- Scalable in stages — more cages can be added to expand capacity without acquiring new land.
- Simpler monitoring and harvest — cages are reached by walkway or boat, so feeding, checks and harvesting are more straightforward than draining or netting a large pond.
- Separation between batches — individual cages keep stock physically separated, unlike a single open pond.
Trade-offs worth knowing: floating systems depend on consistent access and permission for the water body, and are more exposed to weather — wind, wave action and changing water levels — than a controlled pond. That is exactly why site assessment and proper mooring matter; see Installation & Commissioning.
We Run This Ourselves
Green Mart is not only a supplier of floating infrastructure — we operate our own cage-culture farm at Navegaon Reservoir near Nagpur, raising Pangasius (Basa) in the same kind of system we supply.
That means the layouts, walkway routes, shelter placement and mooring arrangements we recommend come from running a working farm day to day: feeding rounds, net checks, harvests, water-level changes across seasons and the maintenance that follows. When we suggest a configuration, it is based on what has actually worked — and what has not — on our own water.
If you are planning a project, we are happy to talk through what we would do differently with hindsight. That conversation is usually more useful than a product list.
